Psoriasis

Is a chronic disease that affects the life cycle of skin cells. Psoriasis causes cells to accumulate more rapidly on the surface of the skin, forming thick silvery scales and red spots, itching or itching begins, and sometimes there is pain.

Types of psoriasis

  •     Erythrodermic psoriasis: the least common type of psoriasis can cover the entire body with a red rash. May be triggered by severe sunburn, by action of corticosteroids or other types of psoriasis are not well controlled.
  •     Psoriatic Arthritis: Inflammation of the skin, discolored nails, pain and swelling in the joints. It is sometimes associated with ocular inflammation, conjunctivitis. It can affect any joint.

Psoriasis Symptoms

Symptoms vary from person to person but often include some of these signs

  •     Red spots on the skin covered with silvery scales
  •     Small spots more common in children
  •     Lesions in the nails, thickening, nails bitten
  •     Dry and cracked skin that may bleed
  •     Joint swelling and stiffness.
