At the entrance of the winter season that includes the 1 October 2010 to March 31, 2011, The Ministry of Health issued a series of recommendations to the community to exercise caution and avoid presenting cases of hypothermia, burns, and carbon monoxide poisoning and butane gas.

It is at this time of year when performing the operation in winter, all medical units involved in the health sector such as IMSS, ISSSTE, ICHISAL, SSA, PCE, SEDENA and private hospitals.

Besides maintaining close coordination with Civil Defense, Fire, Health Jurisdictions, COESPRIS and Medical Examiners.

Here are some activities taking place during the winter season:

* Raising awareness in the population of our state through health education through information sessions.
* Information Education Communication Units and Health Facilities.
* Participation of the municipalities through the Municipal Health Committees in coordination with the Municipal Civil Protection Unit.
O Training of health professionals.
Alternatively, preventive Information Management in Schools.
Alternatively, dissemination of preventive measures in mass media.
