How is the performance of Andalusian Health Department
Foundation Progresso y Salad, attached to the Andalusia Ministry of Health, has called for aid to boost scientific practice among professionals in Clinical Management Units hospital or health centers for emergency public health system in the community.
Specifically, this call is to the recruitment of dedicated professionals who assume care of others, so that the latter may devote a certain time exclusively to the development of research projects.
Regarding the allocation of grants, establishing a maximum of 60,000 euros for the medical staff and 30,000 euros for the nursing staff for a maximum period of 12 months, as reported Monday the department heads Maria Jesus Montero.
The directors of clinical units of hospital management and medical emergency centers must nominate applicants for aid. Among other requirements, must be principal investigators, at least one research project funded calls for competitive bidding by a public or private, which is active during the period for requesting intensification.
This call is part of the Program Human Capital Development Researcher Andalusia public health system, aimed at increasing the critical mass of research.
It adds also a first to be convened again in 2010 as part of aid to the Financing of Biomedical and Health Sciences of the Ministry of Health, aimed at professionals in the clinical management unit’s primary care.
These grants will benefit the approximately 400 units of clinical management of hospital care and emergency health centers that exist within the Andalusia public health professionals in developing scientific practice with the aim of solving problems citizens’ health.
