Ministerial Regional Secretariat of Health of Mauled is releasing data through interactive maps Regional. The aim is to improve existing indicators, systematizing information concerning mortality, life expectancy and infectious diseases.

Atlas Interactive design allows us to know the epidemiological situation of each of the 30 communes. For life expectancy of the population, the Regional Map shows the town of Para appears as the lowest, with 74 years on average. Highest however, is the town of Pell hue with 79, followed by Holy Family 78.

The manager of the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Serum Mauled, Alexis Ponce, said that through this Atlas Interactive “we offer the community and community teams and the authorities, relevant and updated health of the population. These maps can be obtained quickly, data from 30 municipalities in our region. We will have demographic, mortality, infectious diseases, which are crucial for decision-making in health, “he said.

The initiative will gradually integrate information on animal borne disease, Hantavirus respiratory syndrome, data on prevalence of HIV / AIDS, cervical cancer mortality, among others.
